  • Mindset

Have you ever experienced failure because you lacked knowledge or your thinking wasn't correctly aligned? Conversely, have you ever experienced great success because your thinking was challenged or because you looked at something from a different angle?

As Christians we are told to continually ‘be transformed by the renewing of our minds’ (Romans 12:2). That means getting as clear as we can about what God says, thinks or feels about a situation, subject or circumstance and applying the Bible's eternal truths into our lives.

The mind is the forerunner of all actions, so if we want to walk in the ways of God’s blessing it’s vital that we have the right thought processes in place.

We urge you to look through the articles in this section so that you get a 'God's eye view' of the whole area of money, wealth and financial prosperity.

  • Motivation

Here we look into the core of every human being - ‘the heart’. Simply understanding how God wants you to prosper is not enough. We have to ensure that we have pure hearts and that our motives are right if we are to handle and create wealth in a God-honouring way.

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. Matthew 5:8

When you understand the journey God has mapped out for your life in terms of financial blessings and prosperity, it's vital that you heed the warnings of scripture regarding wealth, have the right attitude towards money and see the whole area of finance with an eternal focus.

In this core area you’ll learn tips and teachings that will equip you to start the journey well, empower you to stick to the task and build you up when hard times come your way.

  • Management

For generations the Church has not dealt with the issue of money. As a result, money has now come to deal with the Church. The vast majority of church leaders don’t like talking about money. This has meant that many Christians are simply not living victoriously in the area of stewardship. The result is debt, anxiety and a poverty mentality.

The main reason that many Christians have failed in the management of their money is because they haven’t come to the realisation and conviction that all they own is in fact God’s. We own nothing in this life – even our very own lives were purchased by God at an incredibly high price (1 Cor 6:19-20)! Everything we have is what God has allowed us to be stewards of.

It is with this in mind that we want to look deeply here into the practical applications of how we should rightly steward that which we’ve been entrusted with. What should we spend? What should we give? What should we invest? How should we view our finances? Should we be accountable? All these important questions, and more, are answered for you within the articles below.

  • Marketplace

The Church made a great error when it introduced the terms ‘clergy’ and ‘laity’. This concept of a distinction between ordained leaders and ‘ordinary pewfillers’ has caused an unnecessary divide between the two groups of people. Those who work as pastors, ministers, vicars and church leaders are labelled as ‘full time ministers’. Although there is nothing wrong with this description, it’s vital that we understand that all Christians have been called into full-time ministry. Wherever God has called us – we are all ‘ministers of the Gospel’ (or at least, we should be!).

Although there are many areas to look at in terms of the marketplace minister (such as witnessing, influence, relationships and integrity), our focus is on the ability for the Christian entrepreneur to create wealth to inject into local church and wider ministries.

In this core area our most important task is to recognise Christian entrepreneurs and release them to operate in their natural boldness, competitiveness, creativeness and decisiveness. We will discover the different aspects that make up an entrepreneur, the unleashing power of being released into your calling, the challenges of integrating business and ministry, the effect that your dreams can have on the lives of those around you, and many other issues.

The Church is a body, and we want to see both the church leader and Christian entrepreneur working in harmony, recognising the parts they both have to play. In order to make a significant impression on our world during these last days, the Christian entrepreneur needs to be set free to create provision to help feed the vision.

  • Ministers

Here at WisdomOnWealth we want to champion the cause of the local church. One of the most effective ways of doing this is to support, encourage and equip people in leadership positions.

We believe strongly that significant numbers of Christians will only start to live in financial freedom when they see it modelled and taught by their leaders. With this in mind we want to dedicate this section of our site to you, the church leader.

Here, you'll find articles to help you effectively lead God's people in the biblical teachings on wealth.
