WisdomOnWealth (WOW) is the brainchild of entrepreneur Rob Brown and church minister Alistair Kent. These two Christians with diverse backgrounds have complementary skills that have combined to create this website.
Rob's business acumen and Alistair's Bible teaching neatly dovetail into the creation of WOW, which aims to bring a biblical balance to financial prosperity for the benefit of both the global Church and individual Christians.
Rob is a conference speaker and leading expert in relationship marketing and business networking techniques, and is the founder of the global TRIP Club (Turning Relationships into Profits). Based in Nottingham, UK, he regularly speaks to the leaders of Britain's top high street banks, lawyers and accountants, and shows their staff how to build more successful and profitable relationships. He attends an Anglican church on the outskirts of the city. He contributes to WOW with vision, direction, marketing and financial support.
Alistair has a “holy dissatisfaction” with the fact that so many local churches are poor and unable to resource the work of God. He says this has “created a negative impression of the blessings of Christ in both the believer’s mind and in the eyes of non-Christians.” Out of his passion for a spirit of excellence to be evident in God’s Church across the globe, Alistair believes God has led him to this unique partnership which has created a holistic approach to the subject of Christianity and wealth.
Other contributors will be added over time to enhance and enrich the qualty of material on the website.
The site is designed for ordinary Christians who want to know what God really says about finances, for church leaders who want to teach their congregation how to manage money, and for entrepreneurs who want biblical guidance for creating wealth. Its primary aim is to communicate a balanced but positive message about wealth, avoiding the extremes that often surround this subject.
WOW is a non-denominational, independent website.
Taking up a supporting roles alongside Rob and Alistair in the running of WOW is Kate Kent, who help with administration and editing.
